LONDON, August 17. /Dunyo IA/. The 17^th Central Asian International Exhibition of Textile Machinery and Technologies (CAITME 2026) will be held in Tashkent, bringing together 250 companies and brands from 17 countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with the British portal “EM Insights”.

Exhibition will open the traditional “Global Textile Days” Week on September 8 and will serve as a key event for the textile and garment industry of Central Asia.

According to an independent audit, CAITME is the largest specialised exhibition of its kind in the CIS countries. It contributes to the equipping and modernization of the region’s textile and garment sector, the introduction of advanced technologies, increased productivity and enhanced competitiveness of manufacturers in international markets.

This year, companies from Germany, Austria, India, Italy, China, Türkiye, the United States, Switzerland and other leading textile-producing countries will participate in the exhibition. Germany will be represented by a National Pavilion.

Among the world’s leading manufacturers of textile machinery and suppliers of advanced technologies, major companies such as Rieter, Uster, Toyota, Muratec, Truetzschler, Saurer, Picanol, Karl Mayer, Staubli, Shima Seiki, Epson, Itema, Brückner, Groz-Beckert and other leading industry representatives will be showcased. Uzbekistan’s leading industry players will also participate in the exhibition.

A separate project, the “TextileExpo Uzbekistan Sourcing Hub”, will be held on September 9^th. For the first time in Uzbekistan, textile manufacturers and procurement representatives from retail chains, factories and specialised companies will have an opportunity to hold direct B2B negotiations in a digital format using artificial intelligence.
