CAIRO, May 14. /Dunyo IA/.  Egyptian news agencies “Al-Youm as-Sabea” and “Al-Khabar al-Youm” reported on the plans of the country's travel companies to organize a study tour to Uzbekistan and expand cooperation in the field of tourism, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

It is noted that the initiative is aimed at promoting Uzbekistan as a new tourist destination for Egyptian travelers. Within the framework of the upcoming visit, tour operators, bloggers and media representatives will be able to get acquainted with the country's tourism potential, including its historical cities and modern tourist facilities.

Following the trip, it is expected to develop new tourist routes and packages tailored to the Egyptian market.

It is emphasized that Uzbekistan is considered a promising destination thanks to its rich cultural and historical heritage and expanding tourism infrastructure, including Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva.
