BBC Two launches Great Central Asian Railway Journeys episode dedicated to Uzbekistan

LONDON, May 14. /Dunyo IA/. The popular British television channel BBC Two has launched an episode of the travel documentary series Great Central Asian Railway Journeys dedicated to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The programme, which has been produced since 2010, has been filmed in more than 15 countries worldwide, including the United States, Australia, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Azerbaijan. It is hosted by Michael Portillo, a former senior British politician and well-known television presenter.
The episode focuses on Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as the country’s rapidly developing railway infrastructure. The series consists of five 30-minute episodes, covering major historical cities such as Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara, and is broadcast globally on BBC Two.
