New Ambassador of Uzbekistan arrived in Delhi

DELHI, January 26. /«Dunyo» IA/. The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Sardor Rustambayev arrived in the capital of India, reports "Dunyo" IA correspondent.

He is 45 years old. Graduate of the University of Birmingham (UK), Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, School of Oriental and African Studies of the University of London (UK), Academy of State and Social Construction under the President of Uzbekistan. Has an academic degree of candidate of political sciences.
Sardor Rustambayev has been in the diplomatic service since 2000. He held various positions in the central office - from attaché to department head. Worked at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the UK and the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (Beijing, China). Headed the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France (2018-2023)
Sardor Rustambayev replaced Dilshod Akhatov, who headed the diplomatic mission in Delhi in 2020–2023 and was appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany in September 2023.
