Altai company plans to localize production in Uzbekistan

BARNAUL, August 9. /Dunyo IA/. Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk Aslam Akbarov held a meeting in the capital of Altai Krai with the management of “Alfit”, one of the region’s leading companies, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The company specializes in the production of more than 350 types of phytoproducts, including encapsulated herbal blends, plant extracts, specialized cosmetic products and confectionery items, including sugar-free products.
The meeting placed particular emphasis on the importance of expanding the presence of high-tech phytotherapeutic products on the Uzbek market, particularly products originating from Russia’s Altai Krai.
During the talks, the management of “Alfit” expressed strong interest in establishing closer cooperation with Uzbekistan.
Following the negotiations, the sides agreed to open a representative office of “Alfit” in Tashkent in the near future, followed by the establishment of a joint venture. The next stage of cooperation will involve localizing the company’s production in the Chirchiq Free Economic Zone.
According to the Altai company’s management, a key priority for further cooperation will be the establishment and development of production facilities in Uzbekistan.
In turn, the Uzbek side invited a representative of “Alfit Plus” to join the Altai Krai business mission scheduled to visit Uzbekistan in September this year
