BUDAPEST, August 17. /Dunyo IA/.  Tashkent will bring together textile industry professionals on September 8–10, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with “Daily News Hungary”.

Capital of Uzbekistan will host the 17^th Central Asian International Textile Machinery Exhibition – CAITME 2026. It will open the traditional “Global Textile Days” Week.

CAITME is a key event for Central Asia’s textile and garment industries and, according to an independent audit, the largest specialised exhibition of its kind in the CIS. The exhibition plays an important role in equipping and modernising the region’s textile and garment sector, helping manufacturers increase productivity, adopt advanced technologies and strengthen their competitiveness in international markets.

This year, the exhibition will bring together 250 companies and brands from 17 countries. Germany will be represented by a National Pavilion, while companies from Austria, India, Italy, China, Türkiye, the United States, Switzerland and other leading textile-producing countries will also take part.
