NOVOSIBIRSK, September 9. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the General Consulate of Uzbekistan, together with representatives of the Migration Agency, met with compatriots working at the largest Uzbek agricultural Wholesale Distribution Center (WDC) in Siberia and the Far East, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meetings, call center contact details and informational brochures containing the addresses of diplomatic missions were distributed to the citizens. Additionally, a detailed on-site consultation was conducted, addressing all matters related to consular and legal assistance.

Special attention was paid to the issue of compliance with personal safety measures, as well as the migration laws of the host country. It was noted that in the event of any violation of the rights, freedoms, and interests of compatriots within the Center, they should immediately contact the General Consulate of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk to ensure a prompt resolution of the issues.

General Consul Aslam Akbarov, also provided recommendations on safely preserving Uzbek identification documents held by our citizens, as well as the work patents allowing them to operate within the Novosibirsk Oblast of Russia.

It should be specifically noted that the launch of the “Eurasia-Siberia” Wholesale Distribution Center (WDC) in February 2025 significantly increased the supply of fruit and vegetable products from Uzbekistan to the Novosibirsk region, currently accounting for over 80 percent of this market in the Russian region, while simultaneously providing employment for a substantial number of our citizens.

In turn, the importance of ensuring the safety and security of the entire process - not only for the arriving heavy cargo trucks carrying agricultural products but also for the drivers and vendors was once again communicated to the management of the Wholesale Distribution Center.

Our compatriots expressed their gratitude to the General Consulate for hosting these meetings on a regular basis, which, in their view, not only raises their awareness regarding compliance with the host country's laws but also significantly contributes to protecting their rights and freedoms throughout the entire Siberian Federal District of Russia.

It must be noted that thanks to the efforts of the General Consulate and its well-established, close working relations with the regional government and law enforcement agencies, not a single law enforcement raid has been conducted by the Novosibirsk Oblast authorities within the territory of this Center from October 2025 to the present day.
