Senior School Principals of Uzbekistan complete professional training internship on educational institution management in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR, December 12. /Dunyo IA/.  Twenty-five principals of public secondary schools from Uzbekistan, recognised as top-performing education leaders in their respective regions, have successfully completed a professional training programme at the Academy of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), reports Dunyo IA correspondent. 

The programme, titled “Leadership and Management in Education”, was jointly organised with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of Uzbekistan and aimed at enhancing the global outlook and modern managerial competencies of Uzbek school leaders. The initiative focused on strengthening skills in educational governance, quality assurance, pedagogical leadership, and the strategic development of educational institutions.

Intensive professional development course continued during the two-week, participants acquired advanced knowledge and practical skills in key areas, including effective resource allocation, transitioning from project-based initiatives to sustainable implementation, strengthening accountability at the school level, integrating innovation and digital technologies into the learning process, and fostering constructive relationships between school leadership, teachers, and students.

Beyond academic lectures and interactive discussions, the programme provided a valuable platform for professional exchange, enabling Uzbek school principals to share experiences and best practices with their Malaysian counterparts.

As part of the curriculum, the delegation visited a public school affiliated with the National University of Malaysia, as well as "Sunway International School" where they gained in-depth insights into modern educational management models, teaching methodologies, and institutional governance.

Upon completion of the programme, and with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, the participants were awarded internationally recognised certificates, marking an important milestone in strengthening international cooperation in the field of education and human capital development.
