ТASHKENT, December 12. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, in Abu Dhabi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with the UAE Deputy Minister of Interior Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, S.Al Suwaidi highly assessed the cooperation relations established between the two countries, particularly in the field of security.
He emphasized that seminars-trainings and international conferences in the areas of combating cybercrimes, terrorism, transnational crimes, as well as in security and information technologies, have been successfully conducted jointly by the parties.
Welcoming the fact that the “UAE Fast-track” platform was positively received by the Uzbek side to facilitate the entry of Uzbek citizens into the territory of the Emirates, he stated that the necessary measures would be taken to introduce it in the near future.
He fully supported the initiative to appoint a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi in order to combat organized crime, prevent illegal migration, and strengthen cooperation in this direction.
