The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the President and Chief Executive Officer of Sojitz Corporation of Japan Kosuke Uemura, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the Tashkent International Investment Forum, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the talks, the parties discussed the company’s ongoing investment projects in Uzbekistan, as well as its new initiatives.

The sides reviewed existing opportunities for further expanding cooperation in the fields of industry, energy, transport, and infrastructure.

Readiness was expressed to support Sojitz Corporation's projects aimed at modernizing the country's economy and creating new production capacities.
