Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Portugal agree to launch joint projects

LISBON, April 9. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal Paulo Rangel, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Had a candid and productive meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal, H.E. Paulo Rangel, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - We paid particular attention to advancing Uzbek-Portuguese relations to a qualitatively new level, intensifying political dialogue, and expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation.
Agreed to launch joint projects in such priority areas as agro-industry, infrastructure, green energy, tourism, transport, as well as cultural and humanitarian partnership.
We signed a MOU between our Ministries aimed at the exchange of information and the mutual sharing of best practices.
This document will contribute to further strengthening bilateral ties, deepening institutional dialogue, and establishing effective mechanisms for cooperation”.
