Governor of Saint Petersburg personally presented an award to an Uzbek labour migrant for his courage and selflessness in saving a child

ТASHKENT, February 25. /Dunyo IA/. Governor of Saint Petersburg Alexander Beglov has presented an award to Uzbek citizen Khayrullo Ibadullaev, who saved a child that had fallen from a window, reports Dunyo IA correspondent, citing with reference to the Russian news agency “TASS”.
During a solemn ceremony at the Smolny, the municipal services employee received the “For Valor in Rescue’ distinction and a valuable gift -a commemorative watch from the head of Saint Petersburg.
“I would like to thank you for your act - it was a truly manly deed. You did not think of yourself. You were injured, but you saved the life of a seven-year-old child. Our entire city says a huge thank you to you. Such kindness is never forgotten. Your family can be proud of you”, - Alexander Beglov emphasized.
It is worth noting that President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has awarded our compatriot with the “Jasorat” (Courage) medal.
Furthermore, Khayrullo Ibadullaev was granted the Tigran Keosayan Award and will soon receive a monetary prize of one million rubles.
