BERLIN, September 16. /Dunyo IA/. Chairman of “Mangold Consulting GmbH”, prominent German economist, Professor Klaus Mangold congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the 35^th Anniversary of Independence and shared his impressions of the country in an interview with a Dunyo IA correspondent:

- First of all, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to this beautiful country, Uzbekistan, on its 35^th Anniversary of Independence. Today, Uzbekistan stands as a symbol of resurgence and prosperity, contributing to the strengthening of global stability. It also serves as a crucial pillar of security and stability in Central Asia. It is particularly gratifying that these achievements have been accomplished through peaceful means.

I can say with confidence that Uzbekistan is on the right path and is utilizing every opportunity to sustain its successful development. The international community is witnessing positive transformations in the country. The figures themselves serve as vivid proof of my words.

In any country, economy prospers only when there is a high level of trust. Economy and trust are inextricably linked. In recent years, this trust has been consistently strengthened by the country's leadership. I believe that this constitutes the solid foundation for the economy.

Country's greatest wealth is its well-educated and intellectually advanced youth. Uzbekistan possesses immense youth potential that must be provided with employment; therefore, the process of industrialization is of paramount importance. It is precisely industry that is capable of providing young people with decent jobs and ensuring sustainable growth for the nation.

More than 40 years of my entrepreneurial life have been connected with doing business in Uzbekistan. Today, I can see with my own eyes how much the country has advanced in its development - to a level that no one could have previously imagined. When I visit Nukus, Tashkent, Jizzakh and Andijan, I see how the well-being of the people is rising. These changes are noticeable not only in Tashkent or Samarkand, but also in remote villages.

A reliable and stable government is one of the most critical conditions for development. Today, Uzbekistan has earned high prestige in the international arena. The country consistently develops mutually beneficial, constructive relations and good-neighbourliness with nations of both the West and the East.

I wholeheartedly wish for this momentum to be sustained in the years to come. I wish Uzbekistan and its people immense success in all spheres, as well as even greater prosperity, peace and happiness in the future.
