ТАSHKENT, July 24. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, at the beginning of the conversation, the President of Türkiye warmly congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, wishing him good health, family well-being, and continued successes in his state activities.

Two leaders noted with satisfaction that relations between the fraternal countries had reached the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership and that cooperation continued to develop across all areas.

Trade turnover continues to grow, the number of joint ventures and regular flights is increasing, and promising projects are being successfully implemented. Cultural and humanitarian cooperation is also steadily expanding. In particular, sites dedicated to Uzbekistan have been opened in Hatay Province, while Türkiye was represented by a high-level delegation at the International Maqom Art Festival in Namangan and the Forum of Islamic Civilization.

Presidents also discussed the joint implementation of the large-scale plans and objectives under the agreements reached at the highest level.

Leader of Uzbekistan invited President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.
