KUALA LUMPUR, May 19. /Dunyo IA/.  Commissioned by the state television and radio company of Malaysia “Radio Televisyen Malaysia” (RTM), the media company “Rubbertapper Production” has commenced filming an 8-episode Malay-language series in Uzbekistan titled “Diary of Love for Uzbekistan” (“Diari Cinta Uzbekistan”), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Embassy of Uzbekistan, the Tourism Committee, the Cultural Heritage Agency, and JSC “Uzbekistan Airways” are actively cooperating in the implementation of the project. The filming takes place in Tashkent and the Samarkand region, including the territories of a number of unique cultural, historical, and tourist sites.

It is particularly worth noting that within the framework of this project, Malaysian actors and actresses well-known in Southeast Asia are actively promoting the tourism attractiveness of Uzbekistan through their social media pages. They publish materials about purchasing international airline tickets, modern airport services, comfortable hotels, the local transport system, unique Uzbek national cuisine and the sights of our country. In total, it is planned to publish about 100 posts and video clips containing detailed information for foreign tourists planning a trip to Uzbekistan.

According to experts, this media project will contribute to a significant increase in the tourist flow from Malaysia and other ASEAN countries due to the wide coverage of Uzbekistan's rich historical and cultural heritage, its invaluable contribution to the development of Islamic civilization, as well as the country's modern infrastructure.
