ANTAKYA, April 6. /Dunyo IA/. Alisher Navoi International Public Foundation and Hatay Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi have signed a cooperation protocol, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the document provides for cooperation between the two institutions in the research, preservation, and promotion of shared Turkic cultural heritage. Under the protocol, parties will jointly organize events such as international symposia, conferences and Navoi Days. Furthermore, joint efforts will be undertaken to translate the works of the great Alisher Navoi into Turkish and popularize them throughout Türkiye.
The cooperation also includes plans for student and faculty exchange programs, support for scientific research and joint studies, particularly academic works on Temurid-era literature.
Additionally, the parties plan to organize musical events, exhibitions, and Theater and Cinema Days in Hatay Province and Tashkent. The agreement also covers Uzbek Literature Days in Turkey and Turkish Literature Days in Uzbekistan, along with both online and in-person training sessions and summer school programs.
