Syrdarya Region and Chinese metropolis of Shenzhen expand the horizons of trade and economic cooperation

SHENZHEN, April 3. /Dunyo IA/. As part of the visit to China by the delegation of the Syrdarya region led by Khokim Erkinjon Turdimov, “Syrdarya-Shenzhen Trade, Economic and Investment Forum” was held in Shenzhen, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, Consulate General in Guangzhou and Khokimiyat of the Syrdarya region. The forum was attended by representatives of Chinese companies, business circles of the Syrdarya region, as well as provincial officials and representatives of chambers of commerce and the business community.
The forum became an important platform for expanding mutual cooperation and promoting new projects.
Participants were presented with presentations and information regarding the favorable investment climate created in the region for foreign investors, the economic potential of the area, its leading industries, opportunities within free economic and industrial zones, as well as tourism resources.
During the negotiations held in G2B and B2B formats, agreements were reached on cooperation across a range of mutually beneficial sectors. Representatives of Chinese companies expressed their readiness to implement joint initiatives, effectively utilizing the conditions prepared in this region for foreign capital.
During the visit, a roundtable was also organized featuring executives from leading enterprises in Shenzhen. The participants discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of manufacturing, logistics, and innovative technologies. In particular, representatives from organizations such as “Fufeng Electronic Technology”, “Shenzhen Guangsheng Sports”, “Donghua Electronic Technology”, “Aimeite Electric”, “Dongwan Libao Resin”, “Beiyujun Intelligent Technology”, “Shenzhen Yuchuan Group”, “Kaisbo Elevator”, “Qingyuan Xuerui” and “Shenzhen Haiduo Logistics” took an active part in the dialogue and shared their proposals.
Separate meetings were also held with major industrial and technological giants. During these sessions, specific plans for the development of modern manufacturing, water supply and infrastructure were outlined. The Chinese partners announced their intention to visit the region to conduct on-site inspections of the facilities.
Agreements were reached on the implementation of joint projects in the fields of fish farming and electrical engineering. The delegation's working visit is ongoing.
