President of Uzbekistan to visit Jordan

ТАSHKENT, March 4. /Dunyo IA/. Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke with the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the press service of the Head of our State, during the conversation, it was particularly emphasized that the sharp escalation of events in the Middle East in recent days seriously undermines regional security and stability and also causes significant damage to interstate relations.
The need was noted for the immediate cessation, during the holy month of Ramadan for the entire Muslim Ummah, of any actions that threaten the sovereignty of states and the peace and safety of citizens, as well as for resolving conflicts and problems through peaceful and diplomatic means.
Leader of Uzbekistan expressed solidarity and support for the leadership and people of Jordan in these difficult times.
In turn, the King of Jordan thanked the President of Uzbekistan for his friendly attitude and sincere words of support and solidarity. He expressed firm confidence that the upcoming historic high-level visit to Amman would be successful and fruitful.
