ТАSHKENT, July 30. /Dunyo IA/.  Today, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, together with his wife, has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a state visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, at Issyk-Kul International Airport in Cholpon-Ata, they were welcomed by President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov and his wife.

In honour of the distinguished guests, the national flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honour was lined up.

Today, during the talks, the leaders will discuss ways to deepen the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan and elevate it to a new level

President of Uzbekistan is also scheduled to participate in the informal Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
