ROSTOV-ON-DON, June 29. /Dunyo IA/.   An online meeting was held between the Uzbek delegation, led by Deputy Director of the Migration Agency Elyor Toshtemirov and representatives of Russia’s Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Adygea, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Uzbek delegation also included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Youth Affairs Agency.

Russian side was represented by Deputy Governor of Krasnodar Krai Alexander Topalov, Human Rights Commissioner for Krasnodar Krai Sergey Myshak, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Adygea and Minister of Finance Viktor Orlov, as well as representatives of relevant ministries and agencies.

Talks focused on expanding cooperation in the field of organized labour migration, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of Uzbek citizens, and strengthening practical cooperation with the relevant authorities of Russian regions.

Parties discussed prospects for introducing mechanisms for the organized recruitment of qualified labour resources, issues related to vocational training, adaptation and legal support for labour migrants, as well as enhancing cooperation in education, workforce development, trade, economic, and humanitarian spheres.

Following the meetings, the parties agreed to establish direct working contacts between Uzbekistan’s Migration Agency and the relevant institutions of Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Adygea, exchange practical proposals on developing organized labour recruitment, and continue joint efforts to enhance the protection of the rights of Uzbek citizens.
