CAIRO, September 1. /Dunyo IA/. Egyptian news agency “Al Diplomasy” has published an article on the development of cultural diplomacy and strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and Serbia, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The publication highlights the shared scientific legacy of Muhammad al-Khwarizmi and Nikola Tesla and their role in fostering humanitarian ties between the two countries.

Practical areas of cooperation include the production of a joint film, “From al-Khwarizmi to Tesla,” translation programmes, the digitisation of archives, exchanges between Tashkent and Belgrade, and the organisation of reciprocal Days of Culture.

The article notes that these initiatives are aimed at putting cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Serbia on a more systematic footing.
