GUANGZHOU, June 1. /Dunyo IA/. A presentation highlighting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential was held as part of the Guangzhou International Tourism Fair, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, the event introduced participants to the country’s rich historical and cultural heritage, national traditions and values, as well as ongoing reforms aimed at developing the tourism sector.

Particular attention was given to the development of ecotourism. The presentation featured modern recreational facilities in mountainous regions, tourism infrastructure projects, and measures designed to enhance visitor safety and improve the quality of tourism services.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, meetings were also held with representatives of foreign travel agencies and tourism companies. The discussions focused on increasing tourist arrivals to Uzbekistan, strengthening cooperation, and implementing joint projects in the tourism industry.
