Iftar gathering organized for Uzbek women living in Türkiye

A cultural and educational gathering and an iftar dinner were organized yesterday in Istanbul for 300 Uzbek women residing in Türkiye, aimed at marking the holy month of Ramadan in a meaningful manner and strengthening an atmosphere of compassion, solidarity and unity among compatriots living abroad, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The iftar gathering was attended by Uzbek women and active compatriots residing in various cities across Türkiye.
During the meeting, representatives of the Consulate General emphasized that the holy month of Ramadan plays an important role in promoting generosity, tolerance and noble values. It was also noted that strengthening solidarity among compatriots living abroad and maintaining regular dialogue with them remains one of the key priorities.
Senior Lecturer at the Tashkent Islamic Institute, Fakhriddin Muhammadnosirov, delivered a presentation on the essence and significance of the decision of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, “On the worthy observance of the blessed month of Ramadan”. He also spoke about the pillars of Islam, providing assistance to needy and vulnerable families, protecting young people from the influence of destructive ideas and the importance of unity and solidarity while living abroad.
The event was further enriched by cultural and educational performances by renowned artists from Uzbekistan 0 Tojibar Azizova and Zuhra Ashurova.
An open dialogue was also organized between representatives of the Consulate General and compatriots during the event, allowing participants to receive answers to questions of interest. It was particularly emphasized that such meetings contribute to strengthening the practice of open and sincere engagement between the leadership of diplomatic missions and citizens abroad.
