TASHKENT, May 21. /Dunyo IA/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov met with John Geering, the Ambassador of Australia to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Parties expressed satisfaction with the steady dynamics and significant progress achieved across all priority areas of cooperation, as well as the increased exchange of delegations at various levels.
The sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in accelerating the implementation of joint projects involving leading companies of the two countries in the fields of investment, industry, trade, agriculture and mining.
Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in education, especially the development of partnerships with Australian universities ranked among the world’s top 100 higher education institutions.
Following the talks, the parties confirmed their commitment to further deepening the Uzbekistan - Australia partnership across the entire bilateral agenda, emphasizing the importance of enriching cooperation with concrete agreements and mutually beneficial projects.
