Uzbekistan and Montenegro expand cooperation with focus on practical results

PODGORICA, July 26. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Oybek Shakhavdinov held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Montenegro Filip Ivanović, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Parties discussed prospects for further strengthening political dialogue and expanding trade and economic, investment and tourism cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the establishment of an Intergovernmental Commission, the intensification of direct contacts between business communities, as well as the implementation of joint projects in the areas of agriculture, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, information technology and digitalization.
Parties also discussed issues related to improving the legal framework, cooperation in the field of labor migration, education, science, culture and the training of qualified specialists.
Importance of further developing transport connectivity and increasing mutual tourist flows was emphasized.
The sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue joint efforts aimed at implementing concrete initiatives to strengthen mutually beneficial partnership between Uzbekistan and Montenegro.
