DOHA, July 24. /Dunyo IA/.  Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ashraf Khodjaev, held separate meetings with Hadera Abera Admassu, State Minister for Political and Economic Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia and a representative of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) of South Africa, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed simplifying visa procedures for citizens of Uzbekistan, easing the process of obtaining visas, as well as prospects for introducing a visa-free regime.

Particular attention was paid to creating more favorable conditions for mutual travel of citizens. Following the meetings, an agreement was reached to intensify cooperation in the tourism, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres through further simplification of visa formalities.
