Uzbekistan and France Agree to Develop Student Exchange Programs

PARIS, June 20. /Dunyo IA/. An online meeting was held between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nodir Ganiev and Vice-President for International Cooperation of University of Grenoble Alpes Caroline Bertonèche, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, the sides discussed expanding academic and scientific cooperation, developing exchanges of students and researchers, and implementing joint projects within the frameworks of the European Union programs “Horizon Europe” and “Erasmus+”.

Special attention was given to the education of Uzbek students at the University of Grenoble Alpes, their participation in scientific research, and access to various scholarship programs. The parties also discussed prospects for academic mobility and the expansion of student exchange initiatives.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to prepare a cooperation arrangement between interested higher education institutions in Uzbekistan and the University of Grenoble Alpes.
