TASHKENT, June 20. /Dunyo IA/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation today with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Senator of Pakistan Ishaq Dar, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Had a very productive phone conversation with H.E. Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Senator of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, – the head of the MFA of Uzbekistan wrote on his telegram-channel. – During the conversation, my colleague expressed sincere appreciation for the letter of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, addressed to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, H.E. Shehbaz Sharif, acknowledging the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran and commending Pakistan’s active mediation efforts throughout the process

Voiced our confidence that the next stages of the process will proceed in a constructive spirit and that the effective implementation of the understandings reached will further strengthen regional security, stability, and mutual trust.

Agreed to maintain close, trust-based, and regular dialogue between our ministries in the interest of further deepening the strategic partnership between our two brotherly countries.”
