TASHKENT, June 20. /Dunyo IA/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation today with  Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Had a phone conversation with H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, – the head of the MFA of Uzbekistan wrote on his telegram-channel. – Discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of the strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, and exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming events at various levels.

Particular attention was paid to further deepening cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, transport and logistics, energy, and other areas of mutual interest.

The conversation also covered other issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda of mutual interest.”
