Uzbekistan and Serbia reaffirm commitment to expanding cultural and tourism initiatives

BELGRADE, February 2. /Dunyo IA/. Online talks between the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan and Ministry of Culture and Information of Serbia were held with the facilitation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Budapest, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The online consultations were attended by Avazkhan Tadjikhanov, First Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan; Sukhrobjon Bobokalonov, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan and Lav Pajkić, State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture of Serbia.
The meeting was held as part of the practical implementation of agreements reached following the official visit of the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić to Uzbekistan in October 2025.
During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for advancing bilateral cultural cooperation, with particular attention to exchanges of experience in the film industry. Both sides expressed readiness to continue joint efforts and to maintain regular dialogue in the agreed areas of cooperation.
As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on the organization of joint cultural events and the implementation of collaborative projects, underscoring the shared commitment to deepening cultural ties between the two countries.
