BAGHDAD, February 2. /Dunyo IA/. An Uzbek business delegation, visiting the Iraqi capital to participate in the “Baghdad International Fair”, held a series of productive meetings with representatives of various ministries and government agencies, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The delegation included representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan; Ministries of Investment, Industry and Trade and Agriculture; Association of Exporters and Importers; Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency; Agency for Plant Quarantine and Protection; Jewelry Industry Association as well as “Uzavtosanoat” JSC, “Uzcharmsanoat” Association, “Uzeltechsanoat” Association and media representatives.

Among the key meetings, Ibrokhimjon Abdurakhmanov, Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan met with Ibrahim al-Baghdadi, Chairman of the Iraqi Economic Council. The discussions focused on prospective areas of cooperation in agriculture and food production, aiming to strengthen bilateral economic ties and enhance collaboration between the two countries in strategic sectors.
