Uzbekistan and Hungary explore cooperation on joint educational initiatives

BUDAPEST, February 9. /Dunyo IA/.   Oybek Shakhavdinov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Hungary, held talks with Tamás Fülöp, Rector of Hungary's John von Neumann University, aimed at expanding academic and educational partnerships between the two countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

 The parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in higher education, science and workforce development. Particular attention was given to opportunities for expanding academic collaboration, implementing joint educational initiatives and facilitating exchanges of students and academic staff.

Following the discussions, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in strengthening partnerships between universities in Uzbekistan and Hungary as well as in exploring new forms of collaboration aligned with the priorities of their respective educational systems.

Both parties expressed their readiness to continue dialogue and cooperation in the agreed areas, aiming at the practical implementation of the arrangements reached.
