CAIRO, February 8. /Dunyo IA/.  Delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Sakhi Annaklichev, Chairman of the Council for the Development of Private Landowners and Dehkan Farms and Expansion of Agricultural Production, visited Egypt, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The delegation included Chori Sadibakosovich Mirzaev, Chairman of the Board of JSCB “Turonbank”, Farkhod Mukhidinov, Director of “UzAgroStar Holding”, Makhmud Bozorboyev, Director of  “Bulungur – Agro Star” LLC, Sherzod Sultonov, Head of “Agro Gold Premium” as well as representatives from other relevant organizations.

During the meetings held as part of the visit, the delegation was presented with the advanced experience of  “Future of Egypt” (Mostaqbal Misr) company in desert land development, efficient use of underground water resources, implementation of modern agrotechnologies and execution of large-scale agricultural projects.

During the negotiations, the delegation thoroughly discussed prospects for applying this experience in Uzbekistan, establishing investment cooperation in the agricultural sector and implementing joint projects.

In addition, the delegation visited large agricultural fields in the “New Delta” region, gaining firsthand insight into the scale of ongoing projects, land planning practices and the role of these initiatives in ensuring national food security. The visit provided an opportunity to assess practical implementation strategies and explore ways to replicate successful approaches in Uzbekistan’s own agricultural development programs.

The parties emphasized that this experience could play a crucial role in Uzbekistan for developing desert areas, expanding agricultural production and creating new employment opportunities.

The “Future of Egypt” (Mostaqbal Misr) project is one of the country’s major state-level initiatives, primarily focused on developing desert regions in western Egypt, advancing agriculture, building infrastructure, establishing new communities, creating jobs and expanding production capacities.

The project represents a strategic effort to foster sustainable development, economic growth and improved living standards in underdeveloped areas of the country.
