ABU DHABI, October 7. /Dunyo IA/.    Opening ceremony of the “Global Food Week” international food exhibition took place in Abu Dhabi, with the participation of the Uzbek company “Jizzah Zomin asali”, reports  Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event is held under the patronage of UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and representatives of a number of states and international organizations participated in the opening ceremony.

Speeches were delivered by UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Security Authority (ADAFSA), Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al Ameri.

Main objectives of the exhibition are to present initiatives and advanced approaches in the field of food security, discuss current industry trends, develop international cooperation and establish new business contacts.

“Jizzah Zomin asali” presented more than 20 types of products at the exhibition, gaining the opportunity to promote Uzbek goods in international markets and establish contacts with foreign partners.
