Uzbekistan-Afghanistan Business Forum held in Afghanistan

• 174MAZARI-SHARIF, October 2. /Dunyo IA/. Uzbek-Afghan Business Forum and B2B meetings were held in Mazari-Sharif and Sheberghan, featuring the participation of business community representatives from the Khorezm region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Delegation of the Khorezm region was led by Alisher Duschanov, Deputy Khokim of the region. Events were attended by entrepreneurs operating in agriculture, textile and food industries, construction materials production and carpet weaving.
During the meetings, parties discussed expanding bilateral trade volumes and implementing joint projects. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in agriculture, poultry farming, the textile and food industries, as well as the production of construction materials.
Chambers of Commerce and Investment of Balkh and Jowzjan provinces declared their readiness to expand bilateral economic ties and increase trade volumes.
Within the framework of the B2B negotiations, entrepreneurs of the two countries signed a series of agreements in the fields of agriculture, textiles, grain and flour production, food products and construction materials. An exhibition of products by Uzbek and Afghan manufacturers was also held.
Following the meeting, parties agreed to organize a business mission of entrepreneurs from Balkh and Jowzjan provinces to the Khorezm region in November to continue negotiations and finalize specific investment projects.
