Iftar for Uzbek citizens held in the Leningrad region

KINGISEPP, March 15. /Dunyo IA/. In the Kingisepp district of the Leningrad region, an iftar was held at the “Limak Marash” enterprise for citizens of Uzbekistan working at the facility, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by Ilyoskhon Sobitov, Imam-Khatib of the “Obid Qori Khoji” mosque in the Namangan region.
More than 170 employees, including about 20 women, were present at the meeting. In total, the enterprise employs over 3,000 people, approximately 1,700 of whom are citizens of Uzbekistan.
Ilyoskhon Sobitov congratulated the attendees on the holy month on behalf of the country's leadership. He also urged citizens to avoid the influence of various religious extremist groups and to refrain from using prohibited materials, advising them instead to contact the 24/7 call center of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan for any religious inquiries.
Staff from the Consulate General in Saint Petersburg informed fellow citizens about the requirements for temporary consular registration.
The event participants expressed their gratitude to the country's leadership for the attention shown to compatriots abroad. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
