Uzbek specialists present scientific developments at the European Congress of Radiology

VIENNA, March 10. /Dunyo IA/. From March 3 to 8, a scientific delegation from Uzbekistan took part in one of the world’s largest international events in the field of medical imaging - European Congress of Radiology (ECR), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The congress traditionally brings together leading specialists, researchers and clinicians from around the world to discuss the latest advances in medical imaging technologies, digital innovations and the development of international scientific cooperation.
Within the scientific program of the forum, Uzbek specialists presented several studies focusing on key areas of modern radiology. In particular, the presentations addressed multimodal diagnostics of brain tumours, the application of magnetic resonance spectroscopy, quantitative analysis of brain structures using artificial intelligence technologies, as well as the use of AI-based algorithms in the analysis of computed tomography data.
Additionally, Professor Nigora Djuraeva from the Academician V. Vakhidov Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Surgery served as the moderator for the scientific session “Advancing Practice in Radiography: Challenges, Education and Innovation”.
The discussion explored modern approaches to radiography practice, issues related to the training of specialists and the introduction of innovative technologies in the field of medical imaging.
The scientific works presented by Uzbek researchers attracted considerable interest from the international professional community, particularly representatives of leading foreign medical imaging centers.
