MINSK, June 15. /Dunyo IA/.  A meeting with Uzbek students was held in the capital of Belarus, attended by the leadership of the relevant department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Embassy of our country and officials from the Migration Agency, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting with fellow compatriots studying at the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, the correspondence department of the Belarusian State Technological University and the Belarusian State Medical University, the core essence of the reforms implemented under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev within the framework of the “New Uzbekistan” concept was detailed.

During the meeting, particular attention was focused on the prevention of offenses among the student youth. Specifically, the students were reminded of the strict unacceptability of involvement in illicit activities related to the trafficking of narcotic drugs, as well as the imperative necessity to counter the influence of terrorist, religious-extremist and other destructive movements.

Furthermore, the representative of the Migration Agency outlined the current system of support for fellow compatriots abroad, measures to protect their rights and legitimate interests, as well as the existing opportunities for obtaining the necessary assistance.

At the conclusion of the meeting, which was held in an open and friendly atmosphere, the students received comprehensive answers to their questions and expressed their proposals for further fostering cooperation.
