MOSCOW, September 11. /Dunyo IA/.  “Art-Caravan: Dialogue of Cultures” international exhibition of works by Uzbek and Russian artists is taking place from September 3^rd to September 30^th at the Vykhino Gallery in Moscow, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Exposition brings together the works of 18 artists from Uzbekistan and Russia and is dedicated to the cultural and artistic dialogue between the two nations, as well as the interaction between traditional and contemporary art.

Works on display reflect the mutual influence of the artistic traditions of the two countries: the Russian plein-air school blends with the decorative richness of the East, European modernism is brought into dialogue with the heritage of Eastern miniature art, while the artistic experience of past generations takes on a contemporary resonance.

An important part of the project was a series of joint plein-air sessions, meetings and creative exchanges among the artists. Uzbekistan itself, with its distinctive architecture, ancient cities, colour and textures, also became a source of inspiration for the participants.

Overall, the exhibition features works by Tatyana Babushkina, Rustam Bazarov, Ibragim Valikhodjaev, Viktor Glukhov, Marina Kabysh, Irina Kovalenko, Olga Kozhemyakina, Maksim Lytov, Anatoly Lyubavin, Darya Mironenko, Robert Nizamov, Natalya Petrova, Alla Polkovnichenko, Elena Postnova, Dilorom Rakhimova, Khurshed Khalilov, Abdulmuqadim Khalimov and Viktoriya Kharchenko.
