BEIJING, June 30. /Dunyo IA/.  A high-level roundtable discussion has taken place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Beijing, convening leading executives and representatives from prominent corporations of China specializing in the “green” economy sector, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the proceedings, the participants were briefed on the comprehensive structural reforms and strategic measures being implemented within Uzbekistan to advance the national “green” economy, alongside the practical execution of key state initiatives in this domain.

Particular emphasis was placed upon the Strategy for the Transition of Uzbekistan to a “Green” Economy for the Period 2019–2030 and its core implementation vectors.

Parties deliberated on the prospects of multifaceted cooperation with enterprises of the People's Republic of China across the sectors of the “green” economy, the production of advanced materials, waste recycling, and automotive manufacturing, alongside the execution of joint investment projects within Uzbekistan.

Furthermore, a comprehensive presentation highlighting the investment potential of the country was delivered to the participants.

Consequent to the proceedings, an agreement was reached to mutually formulate and advance prospective high-impact projects in coordination with Chinese corporations.
