Russian Federation highlights the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan and their subsequent results

OMSK, July 24. /Dunyo IA/.  An analytical article dedicated to the modern reforms in Uzbekistan, their socio-economic outcomes and the country’s growing role in the international arena has been published on the official website of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Omsk Region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Publication notes that the transformations being carried out in New Uzbekistan cover virtually all key areas of state and public development. Particular attention is paid to the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of the population, enhancing the public administration system and creating favourable conditions for entrepreneurial activity.

It emphasizes that the ongoing reforms envisage expanding the powers of citizens’ self-government bodies, strengthening their financial base, and introducing new mechanisms to support local initiatives, employment and family entrepreneurship. It is noted that the mahalla is becoming an important link in the implementation of state programmes directly at the local level.

Authors of the publication also highlight Uzbekistan’s consistent preparations for accession to the World Trade Organization.
