Charity Event Held in Seoul on the Occasion of Eid al-Adha

• 87SEOUL, May 27. /Dunyo IA/. A charity event dedicated to Eid al-Adha was held in the capital of South Korea and organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event took place at the Uzbek national cuisine restaurant “Lazzat” and was organized within the framework of implementing the country’s policy on supporting the population and effectively conducting charity and philanthropic activities during the sacred holiday.
Representatives of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan took part in the event, including Imam-Khatib of the “Mirzo Gʻolib” Mosque in Tashkent’s Olmazor district Isokhon Begmatov, as well as members of the Uzbek diaspora and compatriots temporarily working in the Republic of Korea.
The main purpose of the event was to support citizens of Uzbekistan living abroad and to strengthen the traditions of mutual assistance, compassion, and unity among compatriots during the sacred holiday.
During the event, participants were invited to a charity dastarkhan. In addition, assistance was provided to 50 needy families through the distribution of food packages.
Imam-Khatib Isokhon Begmatov spoke to participants about the spiritual significance of Eid al-Adha, emphasizing the importance of celebrating the holiday in accordance with national traditions and in a festive atmosphere. He also highlighted the importance of charity, mutual respect, and preserving spiritual values among compatriots abroad.
Participants expressed gratitude to the leadership of Uzbekistan for organizing the initiative, noting its important role in strengthening moral ties, supporting compatriots abroad, and developing humanitarian cooperation.
