SHANGHAI, September 20. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation from Uzbekistan led by Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Shukhratjon Yigitaliev visited Shanghai, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED), and the Development Strategy Center.

The Shanghai Academy of Global Governance and Regional Studies organized training sessions for Uzbek specialists with the participation of Chinese experts. The participants studied the prospects of the Chinese economy, China’s modernization model, relations among major powers, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), the Belt and Road Initiative, China’s relations with Central Asian countries, security issues, artificial intelligence, urban governance, and the key ideas of the 15th Five-Year Plan.

Following the training, participants were presented with certificates.

In addition, representatives of UWED held meetings with experts from the Shanghai Academy of International Studies, the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, and Shanghai University.
