WARSAW, February 23. /Dunyo IA/. Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Poland, Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, held talks with the management of the Polish company “Hands Man Food” – Łukasz Kozioł, Chief Executive Officer and Dariusz Wasiluk, technologist, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The discussions focused on Uzbekistan’s investment climate, prospects for the processing of agricultural produce and the expansion of the country’s agro-industrial export potential.
Łukasz Kozioł, Chief Executive Officer of “Hands Man Food”, highlighted existing opportunities to increase supplies of Uzbek products to European markets, while underscoring the importance of improving logistics chains and ensuring that certain categories of goods comply fully with European Union requirements and standards.
The Polish side expressed readiness to invest in the development of processing capacities, as well as in the implementation of projects in farming and horticulture across Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further explore concrete avenues of cooperation. These include the localisation of selected stages of product processing in Uzbekistan - initially focusing on the cultivation of raspberries and cherries, with subsequent processing and export in frozen form - as well as the exchange of expertise on the phased implementation of European Union quality standards within Uzbekistan’s production processes.
The sides also discussed establishing a sustainable production and logistics chain by channeling domestically grown fruit and vegetable produce to processing facilities, followed by exports to European markets, including Poland.
The Polish side expressed interest in organising a business delegation visit to Uzbekistan in March 2026, to be led by Łukasz Kozioł. The program is expected to include meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the administration of Namangan Region.
