Embassy Officials of Uzbekistan organizes preventive meetings for citizens in Poland

• 203WARSAW, March 9. /Dunyo IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland organized preventive meetings with its citizens to raise awareness on the risks of legal violations, the spread of false information online and involvement in illegal activities, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The events were held at Uzbek restaurants, hostels, and workplaces where Uzbek citizens are employed. Open dialogues took place with compatriots, covering working and living conditions as well as arising legal issues.
Special attention was given to preventing illegal migration, document forgery, visa and residence permit fraud and risks associated with suspicious online job offers. Citizens were also reminded of the importance of respecting the laws of the host country.
Approximately 200 people participated in the program. Of these, 135 were registered with the consulate, 33 consular services were provided, and more than 25 compatriots received legal consultations.
In addition, embassy staff held individual meetings with several Uzbek women, congratulated them on International Women’s Day, and addressed issues related to employment and regularization of their legal status in Poland. Information about reliable employers was provided and assistance was offered in job search.
