ТASHKENT, January 16. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova met with Esin Ajar Ergin, Head of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
According to the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, during the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the current state and prospects of Uzbekistan-Turkey cooperation.
The sides discussed opportunities for the implementation of new joint projects in Uzbekistan. Particular attention was paid to cooperation plans for 2026 as well as to identifying new areas and formats of interaction.
In this context, interest was emphasized in expanding cooperation in the field of education, including the involvement of Turkish teachers and specialists in educational initiatives in Uzbekistan, the exchange of experience and the development of human resources capacity.
Among the priority areas for cooperation were healthcare, education, agriculture as well as projects aimed at the preservation and promotion of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage.
Following the meeting, the sides confirmed their mutual readiness to further deepen partnership and strengthen friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
