According to the Consulate General of our country, Thailand previously allowed visa-free entry for citizens of 57 countries; now, China, India, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan have been added to the list of 36 countries.

The new regime applies to visitors to Thailand through all border posts.

The government of Thailand unilaterally introduced this regime to stimulate the economy, although it reserves the right to cancel it in the future.

According to Thailand Foreign Ministry, negotiations are currently ongoing to develop an intergovernmental agreement on a mutual visa-free regime between Uzbekistan and Thailand.

Until July 15, citizens of Uzbekistan could obtain a 15-day tourist visa on arrival at the airport for US$60.
