ТАSHKENT, June 16. /Dunyo IA/.  As part of the 5^th Tashkent International Investment Forum, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of our State, the distinguished guest conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the President of Uzbekistan.

The current issues related to expanding relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus within a multifaceted partnership were discussed in the context of preparing for upcoming high-level events.

The productive outcomes of the Intergovernmental Commission meeting held in Tashkent region in May this year were noted with satisfaction.

Trade turnover continues to grow steadily, increasing by 32 percent since the beginning of the year. Ongoing cooperation projects are active in agriculture, mechanical engineering and other sectors.

The need to implement coordinated measures to boost trade and economic cooperation, and enhance cultural, humanitarian and interregional exchanges was highlighted.
