FERGANA, October 15. /Dunyo IA/. This morning, Fergana hosts the inaugural session of the Fergana Peace Forum under the motto, "Fergana Valley: Uniting Efforts for Peace and Progress" reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Over the course of two days, the city will serve as a platform for international dialogue and cooperation, bringing together representatives from government bodies, expert communities, and civil society. The forum is attended by more than 300 delegates from Central Asia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Europe, Asia, and the Americas, including representatives from prominent international organizations such as the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the United Nations (UN), and the European Union (EU).
Participants of the forum will deliberate on key issues related to ensuring stability and sustainable development in the Fergana Valley, unlocking its economic potential, and strengthening good-neighborly relations and mutual trust among the countries of the region.
The session is expected to culminate in the adoption of a communiqué calling for the establishment of a unified space of friendship and cooperation, as well as the organization of the "Unity Day" (Yntymak Day) — a symbolic celebration of the solidarity among the peoples of the region.
