Consulate General of Uzbekistan strengthens protection of nationals’ rights in Primorsky Krai

VLADIVOSTOK, February 9. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan organized a reception for Uzbek citizens temporarily residing in Primorsky Krai, aimed at protecting their rights, providing qualified legal assistance and addressing local issues, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was attended by representatives of the Primorsky Krai Migration Policy Agency, Dmitry Yavorsky and Alexander Krestyannikov, Andrey Kambolin, head of one of the region’s leading law firms as well as representatives of Uzbek diaspora organizations.
During the outreach reception, 58 citizens’ requests were reviewed. Legal explanations were provided for the majority of cases, and a significant portion of the issues were resolved on the spot. Migration-related challenges were discussed with the participation of specialized experts, while certain appeals were taken under review and forwarded to Russian law enforcement agencies for legal assessment.
In addition, citizens received guidance on obtaining consular and legal services, as well as information on measures implemented in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to provide social, legal, and other support for compatriots abroad and ensure safe labour migration. The latest decrees and resolutions adopted in this area were also presented to participants.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants were advised to adhere to Russian laws, refrain from participating in unauthorized demonstrations and mass disturbances and to focus on promoting interethnic harmony, religious tolerance and respect for local traditions
